Unfortunately, you may be faced with an emergency situation at some point in your pet’s life. If your pet is exhibiting or experiencing any of the following symptoms, please call us immediately.
- Inflammation, swelling, excessive rubbing, squinting or blinking of the eyes
- Difficulty breathing
- Prolonged or multiple episodes of vomiting or diarrhea
- Blood or black material (digested blood) in the vomit or stool
- Inability or straining to urinate or defecate
- Rapid heartbeat
- Rapid or labored breathing
- Bloated, distended, swollen or painful abdomen
- Poisoning or suspected ingestion of inappropriate materials, chemicals or medications
- Seizures
- Injuries/trauma
- Lacerations/bite wounds/penetrating wounds
- Excessive bleeding
- Paralysis
- Labor and delivery problems
- Heatstroke
- Staggering, stumbling, head-tilted, sudden blindness
- Lameness or non-weight bearing on any limb
